Daz Studio Measure Metrics
This is a revision and expansion of my oldMWallMeasuring Wall prop. The original of which was featured on ShareCG for a number of years.

MWall 2.0 is a Measurement wall prop that measures figure heights in both metric and feet. The prop was carefully modelled and UV Mapped to Daz Studios scale. The wall has two sides, one is for Metric measurements, and the other is for measurements in Feet. The feet side has an additional set of texture options featuring a 9ft grid, this is used to check the arm span of the character (ideally; the arm span from the tips of the fingers to the opposing side should equal roughly the individuals total height). MWall 2.0 is rigged, allowing you to quickly and easily rotate the wall panels, and includes numerous morphs to manipulate the base, and dividing wall. The base of the model can also be hidden!
The wall was designed primarily for character builders, who work a lot with scale, but can easily be repurposed for police line-up themed renders.
Transparent Measuring Props are a new selection of light-weight props - created on low resolution planes, facilitating quick and easy measurements within Daz Studio. Options include: Width/Arm-span Proportion grids, Height measuring panels, a measuring plate for character feet/hands, and various generic panels for length measuring. Additionally, a set of standard rulers in centimetre format are included.
Hierarchy Pose Presets for Genesis, Genesis 2, Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 are included for height and arm-span measuring.
UV Templates for MWall 2.0 are included in its texture folder for custom texturing. There are 3 templates one is for inches, one is for centimetres and the third is for the black frame and base. (Edge lines on the templates indicate the positions of each centimetre and inch.)
Notes:
- This item has not been tested in Poser.
- All Material options are for the Iray Render Engine.
- Accurate representation of scale in Daz Studio requires the measuring props to maintain a scale of 100%.
- I recommend using a high setting for Texture Resources in the Interface Preferences to see the textures crisp in the viewport.

Manual Installation:
Daz Studio Measure Metrics Free
Extract the zip, copy all folders from inside the 'Content' folder, and paste them within your 'My Daz 3D Library' folder (or equivalent), merge as required.
Daz Install Manager (DIM) Installation:
Rename the Zip folder to: “SR00000009-01_MWall20.zip”, and place the zip within your Daz Studio/InstallManager/Downloads folder. You should now see it within the ready to install tab of your Install Manager application.

Now you can!
The Measure Metrics plug-in will allow you to measure the length, diameter or angle of figures and props in your scene. It uses both Metric and US inches/feet. By using the Tape Measure, Tailor's Tape or the Protractor, you can remove the “guesswork” from your artwork.
Measure Metrics comes with 'Pre-set' nodes to help you measure the dimensions of your favorite figures. It also allows you to set up your own nodes to measure any kind of props or even empty space between figures within your scene.
A script included with Measure Metrics allows you to configure morphs which control the dimensions of your figure, allowing you to set the dimensions and have the figure automatically adjust the morphs to match the dimensions you entered.
Measure your figure's or prop's dimensions or configure the tool to automatically set your figure to dimensions that you specify without having to adjust dozens of morph sliders.
This is a fun and powerful tool!
